Ayden Dewes of the Kailua-Kona Dojo was promoted to Hachikyu (8th class), purple belt, on October 15, 2024 by Roland Yamamoto Sensei. Julian Shiroma Hanshi was in attendance as the senior instructor for the Kona, Hawaii dojos. In the photo are his parents, Candace and Tommy Dewes.
