Captain Cook Dojo

My name is Sensei Jenna Shiroma, I am a fourth degree black belt. I began training at the age of seven under the guidance of my father, Hanshi Julian Shiroma. Growing up, I trained five days a week at the Captain Cook, Hale Halawai, and Kealakehe dojos, and at the age of fourteen, I earned my junior black belt. From that moment, my dream was to one day become a sensei.
I am grateful to have achieved that goal and to now lead my own dojo on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, located at Yano Hall in Greenwell Park, Captain Cook. My mission extends beyond helping students earn their black belt. I am dedicated to shaping them into responsible individuals who carry strong values, ethics, and respect both inside and outside the dojo.
