Sensei - Justin Matsushita-Yoshida

Sensei Justin Matsushita-Yoshida comes from a diverse background stemming from a lifelong pursuit of martial arts. Starting at the age of 7, he has trained in Kung Fu, Karate, Kendo, Judo, and Kenpo, among other styles, during his time growing up in Hawaii and while in the Army. However, Karate has been the mainstay throughout his life, and will remain a primary focus at all times. IKL has become a family in a very literal sense, with his wife, Father-in-Law, and Mother-in-Law all having active roles in the organization. Originally from the Shinshu Kyokai dojo on Oahu, he continues to teach and research in Puyallup, WA.
