On 3-27-24, 14 year old Kaohu Deniz was promoted to Purple Belt Hachikyu by Sensei Jenna Shiroma, as the rest of the Dojo members look on.  Her 11 year old brother Laeloa Deniz is the purple belt, far right in the photo. 

Jacob Badertscher Promoted to Brown Belt

Jacob Badertscher of the Dime Box, Texas Dojo received his brown belt on February 29, 2024 from Julian Shiroma Hanshi.  The Kailua-Kona Dojo was honored to be a part of his promotion, and to train with Jacob on the 29th and March 5th.
